I always try to look for legitimate reviews to be sure that the product works and I’ll let you know that this is one of those. I got the bluetooth hyperX because my old mic would not work on my PC. This not only works, but works great. Pairing is super easy, audio quality is great, and audio input is also good from what I can tell. Noise cancellation also is great ( I have a big A/C and i can’t hear it at all.) This in my opinion is worth the money. The only negative that I have is the comfortability isn’t where I was hoping it would be at. it feels a little loose on my head but that’s not a big problem. and the ear pads are a little stiff compared to my old mic that was the most comfortable mic i’ve every used. I would compare the pads to one of a turtle beach which are still really good.

I bought this headset for my husband who is a pretty avid PlayStation player. He just moved to the US from the UK, and he lost his headset in the moving process. We didn’t have a ton of extra money laying around for fun things like this, so I went with a cheaper option. This headset works GREAT! It works way better than I expected it to, because the price point is so low. I do not have a single complaint, and neither does he!

i talk ppl hear visa versa light weight dont c are for cheap feeling but functional and takes care of my needs should prob be a lil cheaper as it feels so cheaply made and audio a bit tin sound to it but over all not bad
as for noise cancleation it dont work at all can hear my dogs children same as almost not wearing it as when wearing it that isnt a option that should be added as it dose not exsist

So for my setup I needed. A new headset cause my old headset broke which was the coosii headset if you saw the reviews on those what I am talking abt is that the mic people have told me that they can not hear me much so I will have to put the headset mic a little way closer to me for people to hear me put everything is good but the bad part about it is just the mic.

I burn through headsets and controllers like it is my damn job, they are always breaking on me… I’ve gone through several of the more expensive headsets within the last couple of years, but this cheaper pair has lasted 9 months already and they still work great. The sound is awesome, the speaker/mic is excellent, they’re comfortable, and I never have issues hearing others, hearing the game, or other people hearing me. They have been far more reliable and durable than the more expensive headsets ever were.
It just plugs into your controller, whoch is wireless anyway, so it’s not like you are stuck six feet away from your PS5 or anything. It eats up the battery on your controller a little faster, since the battery us literally being used for both the controller itself and the headphones, but it is not a dramatic change.
My solution to this, was buying a ten foot charging cable for the controller, since I’m usually pretty close to my tv while playing anyway, and just always having it plugged in while I play. That way, I’m almost ten feet away and my controller never dies, AND my headset is plugged in for maximum ambience as I play.

I have owned the wireless headphones since October of 2022 and they have been working phenomenal. I’ve mainly used it for my PC for casually watching videos and listening to music. Occasionally, I will play games as well like Lost Ark or Genshin Impact and listening to the sound effects from those games are pretty sharp. It has a great connection when voice chatting with friends too. For a very long time, there has been no problem, besides the generic signal breaks, when you’re listening to something and also walking a good distance away from your PC. Unfortunately, as of March 2023, the headphones have started to crackle a lot. I cannot listen to anything properly and the crackling sounds tend to fade in and out or simply appear sharply out of nowhere. I had reset my bluetooth and did everything I could to reconnect the headphones somehow and the result is still the same. I really liked these headphones because they are so comfy for my small Asian head and amazing for casual listening so it’s unfortunate to have it become worse within 6 months of use. I am unsure if it’s this model specifically or just the brand, but I dislike the fact that I’m going to have to get a new headset even though it hasn’t been a year of using these.

I’ve been using these for long enough to see it’s flaws as well as what is great about them. I guess I’ll jump straight into pros and cons
PROS:
– lightweight (hardly any pressure on the head at all)
– very affordable
– EXTREMELY durable (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally yanked and knocked them off my desk onto the floor. Also I recommend looking up videos of how much HyperX headsets can twist and flex.)
– easily accessible mic
– the earpads are fabric and not some soft, leathery texture (this is subjective but I dislike leathery earpads as they begin to flake and fall apart after a while)
– mic sounds clear
CONS:
– the cable extends from both ear cups (this bothers me as they just get in the way frequently and feel awkward sometimes. Also forces you to take the headset off only one way and that way is forward)
– sometimes the sound quality isn’t the best (at this price you of course don’t have the best drivers. When clicking through the PS4 menus I can hear a slight crackling of sorts after each *boop* as well as game menus)
– the volume wheel is confusing (there’s no visual representation on the wheel, which sticks out from both sides, so you literally never know which way will turn up or down the volume)
– the rubber on the bendable mic looks… powdery? (this is obviously just a visual thing so not the biggest issue, but it is quite odd. It somehow went from black to having a grey powdery look, which can kinda be wiped off. Just odd IMO)
– setting the volume at max using the wheel offsets the audio (luckily for myself I typically don’t need to have the headphones set at max volume, but on the games that seem to be very quiet I notice that setting the volume wheel all the way up somehow causes one of the ears to be louder than the other)
To wrap things up I just want to say that these headphones are actually still great for the purpose and value. I bought them for a little more than $25 and can easily recommend them for the average gamer on a budget. Using them in Call of Duty Warfare and Rainbow Six Siege (as well as many other titles) I was able to pinpoint directional audio and crush the competition. These headphones were the beginning of my relationship with HyperX and I’m now a fan.
Update: I’ve recently gotten a PS5 and the headsets are better than they were before. The PS5 controller pushes more power to the headset and provides more than enough volume whereas the PS4 was a little too quiet. Sounds great on PS5. Still a recommendation for those on a budget. It’s been two years and they are still my primary headset. Second favorite headset and that’s saying something considering most of my headsets have been $80+

Bought two for my kids and they love them perfect sound and durability

I like that it’s only one 3.5mm plug instead of having to get a splitter. Works great with my PS5. Great volume control on the cord for quick easy adjustments. Got this to replace my HyperX ones (microphone wire broke on the 3.5mm jack) from 6 years ago.
